The Devonwood Farm field was originally built in the early 1990’s by polo patron Wes Devon Sr. Wes was an avid polo player and a pioneer in the frozen food industry. He sponsored teams in some of the most prestigious polo tournaments in the county until illness forced an early polo retirement. The Devonwood Field sat empty and unused for over 30 years, until 2026 when his daughter Brittany, along with Kevin and Becca Stevens, became an integral part of bringing the field back to life.

Polo at Devonwood has a long history that lives on with the Michigan Polo Alliance. Teams from all clubs come together to use the field for practice and tournaments. The farmhouse at Devonwood is currently being renovated and will be available as an Airbnb and event space in the future.
